This is Mays’ second solo CD, and he keeps expanding his range with each release. This
CD is the soundtrack to a movie that Mays has written but not filmed (yet?). It is easy to picture the movie that Mays is imagining when you listen to the world created in his lyrics. Tracks like “The Past,” “Never Saw It Comin’,” and “Spoonful of Sugar” make this
CD a must have.

The most charming record of the year. The harmonies are outstanding and the songs top-drawer. I was taken by one song Bob Harris played "Prairie Town", it is an outstanding track, but there are many other highlights. A real find from three women who write their own songs and sing their own lead vocals as the others lend their superb harmonies to the mix. I've never heard of any of the musicians who back them so beautifully. - G-Man - (9) Another discovery for me in 2006. First class rootsy instrumentation (yeaps fiddles and banjos!) and harmonies to die for. The initial prettiness of their voices belies the tough underbelly, and three women who are on top of their craft. They sound best when they’re all involved in the vocals. And it’s a grower. which just edged out The Be Good Tanyas. - Loon Rider - (1)

So I thought that Bachman was fading until I heard this album, then I decided that he's the real thing.
