Great comeback for Evan Dando. Here (along with members of The Descendents) he manages to satisfy both his teen punk rock urges with power pop songwriting so good it would make Alex Chilton jealous. The 10 years wandering in oblivion did nothing but increase this man's talent. - Beldo - (4) Shiftless (6), 1973 (5), The Lushus (3)

Bellwether keeps managing to sneak out of semi retirement and put out some of the most well written and warm country rock this side of the
Jayhawks. - Nortwoods - (8) Like the upbeat pedal steel tunes on this cool record! - Milesfrom - (3) Bellwether is criminally overlooked to the point that I feel like they were warranted in breaking up. Thank god they didn't. - Matt Mett - (1) Nvlowden (4), Colorado Sun (1)

There are so many diverse songs on this album that I can play it a couple of times in a row without getting tired of it. Can’t think of another album where I’ve done that.
